Simple Projects you must see!

I was not going to blog today- but if you know me- I blog in spurts.

I can have weeks where I am plagued with guilt over that blog I started and how much I do not have the energy/time/creative juices to throw something up on it.

But then, there are times like today- when I`m feeling sweet and in the mood to spend all day on here. Researching, copy and pasting, editing pictures, writing. It really is so fun for me.

I don`t really have time- I work later today, waitressing. My house is pretty messy and there is lots of laundry to do this morning. The girl`s and I are still hung over from being at the GHA auction so late last night. Fun though. Shelly gave me a bunch of perennials last night that I can`t WAIT to go out and plant. Thanks, Shelly!

Today, I have a couple really cool links you have to see! If you like simple, yet so beautiful projects- I have a few for you here. (Giddy!)

It started for me from a cool project link Christy left in the comments.

Then from there, I found this page. …192 links for you of simple projects under $5. I will have to say- they aren`t all totally my style but there are tons of fun ones.

And from that page- I found this blog- House of Hepworths– check out her cheese dome turned cloche. I just have to show you 3 little projects she showcased. I promise- you will LOVE. 🙂

These little pretty birdies.

My favorite- American flag tacky tins turned into wheat grass holder wonders. (below)

And one more.

A cleaned up vintage bubble gum machine.

And from a blog called The Speckled Dog:  here`s a little kid`s chair makeover I thought was cute too (below).

These are def projects I want to tackle if I ever run into the supplies at a random place, later in my life. 🙂

HAVE A HAPPY WEEKEND! I am about to hit the basement and move around laundry for awhile.

I was thinking I had linked to a tutorial for fabric flowers through your site. Someone had made an Anthropologie shirt knock off. I’m thinking it was a gray T with flowers coming down off the left shoulder. Ring a bell? If you know what I’m talking about, could you give me a link or tell me where to look.

  4. Thank you so much for including my site in your favorites!! What an honor!! 🙂
