I got up way early this morning and thought I really should make something to give away for my belated 100th post celebration.
What celebration? I know. So far, I haven`t produced any “cupcakes” for you all– if you know what I mean.
So here come the cupcakes.
Anyways- so my day was really super crazy and busy but I fit it in wide open and the girls were still in bed, so I got out some scrap fabric, glue gun, needle and thread, stray beads, bobby pins and a scissors.

I made 5 of them– 2 to give away (to you!) and one each for Laila, Elle and I.
What a fun little rendezvous.
When the girls got up, I thought it would be great to have someone model my new bobby pin flowers. Since I hadn`t showered yet, (I look “crazy” in the middle of a creating frenzy) I thought I`d go ahead and let the girls take it away.
This one had just woken up and was sitting on the love seat staring dead into The Nowhere.
She was pretty angry at me for trying to make her wear this stupid hat. I promised her a tootsie roll and it all seemed to work out after that.
Laila`s face says it all.
For some reason, she was harboring the same resentful attitude as sister.

It really felt like I was “selling” it there, which really wasn`t necessary since this is after all a GIVE away.

Labor Day will be in VA, well actually for us, most of it will take place on the road somewhere between my in-laws in VA and our house in OH. We’re leaving tomorrow early aft’n, that is, if I can pack that quickly.

Labor Day is not that big of a deal in our house; but the hubs being off of work is super handy for ‘laboring’ at home! we’ll be working around the house during the day Monday, and cookin’ out with friends in the evening.

Sept. is elk, bow season in oregon so i hardly ever get to spend it with my husband. So i will be with my sister in law on labor day, whos husband also went hunting. have a great weekend.

We are staying home. Working on the house. Hey, can’t complain. I am getting a new house. It takes work. If I am careful I may get a new bit of wardrobe. We shall see.
Labor day what a name for a holiday! Any Mother who has been in labor would know its not a holiday word at all! lol. But seriously, I don’t like it cause it means winter is coming! Yuck! But My cute little girl would look so adorable with one of them flower pins when she wears her new fall outfit!
Labor day is right near our wedding anniversary, reminds me of that end of summer day! Sometimes I think New Year’s day should be September 1st….

Hey, I LOVE your adorable pins! Just precious! I got three lil girls and myself to fight to wear it!
As for Labor Day, I love any and all excuses to not work and be with my family. We will be hanging out for some of the weekend. But we also have 2 other families invited to campout at our place, in the backyard. Campfire, hotdogs, late night talks, Labor Day, you can’t beat it!

Aw, that’s adorable, Jenny. Another thing I’m impressed with is that the creative juices are flowing even early in the morning at your house. The most creative I get in the morning is getting the inspiration to add vanilla extract to my coffee for a flavor boost.
Our church has a picnic/ball game on Labor Day.

Love the flower pins! Very Adorable! For our weekend….our church conference has an annual Labor Day Weekend Family Camp, and since I’m on the food committee at church, we have to help with one of the meals on Saturday, and then on Monday, a get together with my husband’s family is planned….
We will be hanging out w my husbands side of the family . Starting tonight and on till monday ! Love the flowers.
