Some days it`s really quite simple…

A thrift store find...

^This cool game box

plus

this situation…

I had just prided myself on picking up all the toys. FIVE minutes later.... this. I`m fine with them playing with toys, but this was a case of "dump and walk".

It all equals a day where my “creative fix” for that day has to be super fast and simple…

Hence, this.

One day at a time.

A fun EASY “project?”

Hardly a project.

and let`s just say–

a GREAT reminder for me as well. I tend to be a dreamer and it`s hard for me to stay in the present sometimes, and NOT to dream about when they are older, or can dress themselves, etc.

I don`t want to miss a day with them because I was

dreaming.

One day at a time.

Here it is: “in scale”.

In the past, my dear, frank, funny hus commented that all my pictures on my blog are of my baby in a high chair with a dirty face OR a picture on/of my porch.

(Truth there)

Pretty sure now he will say:

“Kill the mantle pictures. Overkill the last while.”

Even though Charles had been very frank with Margaret that they were only a PROFESSIONAL Scrabble Model Couple….

(Is that a camera lens in the middle of their table?)

Hey, a girl can dream!

Margaret knew she was in WAY over her head. One look at THOSE HANDS holding the Scrabble cubes and she turned to jelly…

All our kids will have forms of the name… Charles

Chazz, Charlie, Chett, Charlotte, Chuck, Chucky, Charlene, Charmaine, Charles the 3rd…

    I am dreamer too and often find myself getting lost in “one days” and “some day…” this is such a good reminder to take things one day at a time…{and a very creative way to do it too!}
