Hebrews 4: 12, 13

I am just LOVING the book of Hebrews right now. This from this morning.

God’s WORD is alive and working and is sharper than a double-edged sword.

It cuts all the way into us, where the soul and the spirit are joined,

to the center of our

joints and bones.

And it judges the thoughts and feelings in our hearts.

13 Nothing in all the world can be hidden from God.

Everything is clear and lies open before him, and to him we must explain the way we have lived.

~Hebrews 4: 12, 13

Oh, and one more thing.

    Beautiful verse indeed…

And your picture grabbed me, and almost made me laugh outloud. Because my hair is a wreck – I haven’t washed it since Saturday because of being so dreadfully sick, and I’m wearing coke-bottle glasses because my last pair of contacts tore before I made a new eye exam appointment, I can hardly talk because my throat hurts so bad… BUT it reminded me that beauty is not just about what I look like and wear, but it’s who I can be on the inside. Somehow that really hit me… Thanks for that.

    right back at you!

  3. I have been following your blog for a while now and thought I should comment and “meet” you! Your post about Hebrews and God’s word being active and alive resonates with me….It’s amazing how God reaches out to me among all these other BIG things happening on planet earth and touches me right in the heart…Brings to mind scripture that is stored in my memory bank…Amazing! On a side note and playing the Mennonite game…I was in the youth group at one time with your Bro.in laws, Sheldon and Lamar…funny huh?
